SHINY LINE-UP Classics like these and many more will be on display on Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Fourth Annual Fallen Heroes Car Show in Modesto. Show hours for the Saturday event are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the show will be staged at the Stanislaus County Sheriffs Regional Training Center, 3805 Cornucopia Way, Modesto. There will be a BBQ, music, raffle drawings and a K9 demonstration along with the classic cars on display. All proceeds go to the Peace Officers Memorial Group of Stanislaus County. The show is designed to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and is organized by Gene Adams, who serves as the emcee for the weekly Friday night car shows at Hulas in Escalon and also emcees the annual Escalon Lions Club Autumn Cruise, set this year for Saturday, Sept. 10 at Escalons Main Street Park.
