Mallory Rose and Derek Padilla have announced their plans to wed this fall.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Randy and Nancy Rose of Escalon and the sister of Kyle Rose.

She attended Escalon High School and is a graduate of Long Beach State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree. She is a Registered Nurse at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.

The future groom is the son of Ellie Padilla of Ripon and the brother to Jeff and Chad Padilla.

He attended Ripon High School and is a graduate of Stanislaus State University with a Business Finance Degree. He is employed with the City of Contra Costa in the Water Quality and Distribution Department.

Mallory and Derek became engaged on May 5, 2013 while hiking in the East Bay. They plan to marry in Turlock at Pageo Lavender Farm in September. They will reside in Dublin.
