American Veterans First (AVF) hosted a Car Show and fundraiser on a recent Saturday that showcased classic cars, bicycles, and a motorcycle. There were 24 cars, three bicycles, and one motorcycle on display as well as 12 vendors serving food and a variety of goods. They had a DJ and raffle prizes.

AVF Outreach Coordinator and Navy veteran Shirley Serato expressed that “it went pretty well” and noted that a highlight of the event was “making connections with the community.”

The show was staged in a parking lot on Patterson Road next to AutoZone to be more visible to the public. AVF headquarters is at 6436 Oakdale Road and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; for more information visit americanvetransfirst.net.
