A brand-new crosswalk cures in the triple digit heat over the weekend on the east end of where Prospectors Parkway passes in front of Crossroads Elementary School. Workers completed the improvements there last week, with the same addition finished the week before on Saxon, right in front of the school. The projects were advertised as funded by money from the state for safe routes to schools.
