It might not be too late to sign up for this Saturday’s Super Hero Fun Run in Jacob Myers Park.

Those interested should contact Riverbank’s Parks and Recreation Department to get their names on the list for the May 4 event.

Everyone is invited to come out to JMP for the 5k for runners and walkers.

“Come dressed in your best super hero attire as we celebrate the heroes in our community,” said Recreation Supervisor Julia Petit. “There’ll be a prize for the best dressed super hero and free hot dogs for all participants. All active duty military, veterans, law enforcement, and first responders are welcome to participate for free.”

Registration for other runners is $10 each and $25 for a family of four.

Check in begins at 9 a.m. with the race scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to noon.
