Though students have been out of class for several weeks, as summer wears on, work is continuing on the campus of Cardozo Middle School in Riverbank. Workers grind on the concrete foundation of what will become sixth grade classrooms in near 100-degree heat recently, replacing those removed months ago. If the project goes smoothly, the construction may be completed before students return in late summer for the start of the new school year in August.
