Riverbank United Methodist Women will be hosting their annual Holiday Bazaar on Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Church at Third and Atchison (Highway 108) streets, Riverbank. There will be a homemade soup, beans and pie luncheon served each day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with dine in or take out. The group is seeking crafters to sell their specialty items at the bazaar. Oak Valley Art Society, with members from Riverbank, Oakdale, Escalon and beyond, is getting prepared for its annual Fall Art Show on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 15 and 16. It is a member-only show, but the art society is gladly taking new members. Mediums are Oil, Acrylic, Water Media, Drawing, Pastels, Graphics, Photography, and Sculpture.
