The investigation is continuing into a reported armed robbery that occurred on Friday, April 10 at around 10:45 a.m.

According to authorities, there was an armed robbery on Atchison Street at that time. The suspect entered the store and robbed the cashier at gunpoint taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The suspect was described as possibly a white male adult or Hispanic male adult about six feet tall, and weighing approximately 180 pounds, with hazel eyes. He was wearing a black zip up hoodie sweatshirt with the hood over his head, a black hat, a black solid bandana, light blue jeans, black gloves, and a black mask. The handgun displayed was described as small and black in color.

No one was hurt during the incident and there were no witnesses in the store. It is unknown whether the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing and if anyone has information regarding this incident, they are asked to call Riverbank Police Services at 209-869-7162.
