RIVER WARNING
Sign

The water levels at Jacob Myers Park are extremely high, the current moving swiftly, and the water is very cold. Park guests are asked to proceed with caution when considering using the Stanislaus River. Riverbank Police Services, meanwhile, have posted a warning sign upon entry to the park to remind visitors that the river is running fast and cold, and that swimming is not advised.
