New winter hours of operation at Jacob Myers Park in Riverbank will affect how late in the day patrons will be staying and playing. The twisted slide is just one of many features of the main park that will be closing at 5 p.m. in December and January, while those at the back, or west end, the Trail and Dog Park, will be closing at 4:30 p.m. Shorter daylight hours necessitate earlier closing times in the winter.
