Jim Davis, pastor of Trinity Church in Escalon, is still fighting for his life and a special Park Fete fundraising effort this year is designed to help in that battle.
Pastor Davis was diagnosed in June, 2015 with a glioblastoma tumor of the brain. The family’s motto is … “Expecting a miracle! Any day will do.”
While awaiting the miracle they are in need of some financial support. To help with ongoing medical and financial needs, Sweet Snaps Jewelry will be selling items during Park Fete with all profits going to the Davis family. In addition, a 50/50 raffle will be going on. For those unable to attend Park Fete this weekend, tickets for the drawing can be purchased at Escalon Feed Store, or Wonderland Emporium in Escalon. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Tickets will be available during Park Fete until 7 pm. on Saturday evening, July 16. At 8 pm. the lucky ticket will be drawn with half the pot going to the winner, and the other half going to the Davis family. Need not be present to win.
All are encouraged to come out and help support the Davis family during this time. For updates and more information on the family, visit Facebook, Brenda Davis.
