Gallo Center for the Arts, 1000 I St., in Modesto is kicking off the holiday season with a special performance on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis has been one of America’s favorite holiday traditions for more than 35 years. The Grammy Award-winning Davis has created a show that features Mannheim Steamroller Christmas classics performed in the distinctive Mannheim sound. Celebrating the group’s recent anniversary of 35 years since their first Christmas album, the performance includes dazzling multimedia effects best experienced in the intimate setting you find at the Gallo Center for the Arts; so savor the spirit of the season when it arrives with Mannheim Steamroller. The show is scheduled in the Mary Stuart Rogers Theater and will begin at 3 p.m.
