ALEJANDRO “ALEX” RAZO

Alejandro “Alex” Razo, 56, was born April 24, 1966, and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 14, 2022. Alex was born in Mexicali, Baja California Mexico to Jesus and Esther Razo and raised in Oakdale, California. He leaves behind his son Brennan Razo, his former wife Roxanne Razo Simons, mother-in-law Lucy Pacheco, his mother Esther Razo, his sister Rebeca Razo, his brothers Salvador, Robert, Ruben, Francisco Razo and Guillermo Hirales. As well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Alex attended Oakdale Schools, graduating in 1985 from Oakdale High School. He was an outstanding athlete. He participated in baseball, basketball, and football. Alex was a two-way all-league football player and was the MVP of the 1984 Varsity Mustang Football Team. He was also all-league in basketball and baseball. Alex still holds the record of the most touchdowns passes caught in a season at 17. He was also an all-conference wide receiver at MJC.

Alex loved spending time with family and friends, watching his LA Rams, and living life to the fullest. Those who knew Alex will remember him for his humor, his love for sports, and his passion for his family.

Alex is preceded in death by his father Jesus Razo, his sister Rosalba Razo, and his niece Ana Arellano.

A Memorial will be held on October 28, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oakdale, Spanish Rosary at 11 a.m. and English Mass 11:30 a.m.
