Cleetis Alvin Villines, 80, of La Grange died Thursday, Feb. 10 at Casa de Modesto.
A native of Norman, Oklahoma, he lived in La Grange for 15 years. He was a truck driver for International Paper for 20 years. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of Teamsters 386 and the Church of the Nazarene, Riverbank.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret D. Villines of La Grange; children, Les Villines and Wesley Villines, both of Ripon, Phyllis Fields of El Cajon, Carol Garcia of Waterford, Misty Burkett of Ceres, Amanda Villines of La Grange; sisters, Sue Carter of Oregon, Marsha Olson of Delhi; brothers, Clinton Villines of Fresno, Bill Vilines of Modesto; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 15. Burial to be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery at a later date.
