Gary S. Pitassi passed away peacefully at home in July. A member of the Oakdale High School Class of ‘57, Gary was born and raised in Oakdale. He cherished memories of long summers spent frogging and hiding in orchards.

He served in the Army at Fort Benning, Georgia, and later worked as an electrician, gradually advancing to become the Director of Physical Plant at USC – a role he took great pride in. He is survived by a large family and many friends who hold him dear.
