Randall was taken to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2022. Randall was born in Modesto, California on January 15, 1949 to George and Beth Smith. He grew up and lived most of his life in Riverbank, California, and he attended Oakdale High School. Randall was an electrician by trade and adventurer by spirit. His favorite pastime was family. You could always find him surrounded by the ones that loved him most. Randall was a loving father and doting grandfather. There was nothing more important to him than to bring joy to the faces of the ones he loved.

You could always find Randall ready for his next adventure. He spent many years hunting and fishing in Alaska, traveling to Maui and camping with cousins. Randall lived his life to the fullest. He leaves a legacy behind of love, friendship, kindness and surprise gifts. He will be missed “Big” by all who knew him. Randall is survived by his five children Nathan, Justin (Shanaya), Randall Wayne (Aleecia), Dakota (Shelby), and Adrianna, also his nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; the mother of his children Angie Marie, his two sisters, his brother, many nieces and nephews and loving cousins.

There will be a celebration of his extraordinary life held Tuesday, June 28 at 11a.m. at Tuolumne River Lodge, 2429 River Road, Modesto, CA.
