Georgetta L. Southern passed away December 30, 2020 at the age of 78 with family by her side. Georgetta was born August 4, 1942 in Modesto, CA.

Georgetta is preceded in death by her mother Jessie Cantwell and brothers Bill Murphy, Michael Murphy and Gary Murphy. She was survived by husband Jerry Southern of Modesto. Daughters Michelle Huggins and Kimbra Southern-Govia (Tony) both of Modesto. Grandsons Kyle Walker (Jandy) of Riverbank; Colton Huggins (Megan) of Modesto; and Cord Huggins (Gabi) of Modesto; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on June 24, 2024 at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 E. River Road, Escalon CA 95320 at 11 a.m., followed by a potluck at 3766 Davis Ave., Modesto CA 95357.
