Glenn Allan Gulley, born in Oakdale, California on September 8, 1950 to James and Marilyn Gulley. To our great sorrow, died March 15, 2025 in Oakdale, California.
Glenn grew up in the Oakdale and Stockton area, graduating from Stagg High School and started his career in law enforcement as a Cadet for Stockton Police Department. After Glenn moved back to Oakdale he joined the Army National Guard and served until honorably discharged. To protect and serve was Glenn’s passion. Glenn became a Police Officer for Oakdale Police Department, rising to the rank of Sergeant. Glenn loved serving his community for 30 years to keep it safe and get the bad guys. After Glenn retired from Oakdale Police Department, he worked for the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department for a brief time before working with the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office as a fraud investigator. He was an investigator with the District Attorney and FBI for 13 years before retiring. Glenn was very proud of his law enforcement career and the innumerable achievements and awards he received throughout his career. Glenn was truly grateful for the colleagues and friends he met along the way.
Glenn was also a Cowboy. He loved to team rope and took great pleasure in the horses he raised. He also had his cattle to keep him busy.
Glenn leaves behind his wife of 49 years Patricia, his son Scott and daughter-in-law Amanda, daughter Crystal and two grandchildren Kaden and Stevie. Brothers, James and Andy and sisters, Linda and Amy.
Services will be held for Glenn at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m. at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds.
