Hans Grundmann, 70, died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 24 at Doctors Hospital.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1941.
Mr. Grundmann was actively involved in Newark Little League and coaching football prior to moving to Riverbank. He loved playing Bunko with his wife and friends.
He enjoyed hanging out in the garden dreaming of the old days on his prized Fat Boy Harley with his smokes and nickname "Bald Eagle." He also enjoyed playing Xbox 360 with his grandchildren and playing golf with his boys.
His family thanks the staff at Doctors Hospital for their compassion and care.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Grundmann of Riverbank; children, Jim Grundmann, Steve Grundmann, Jeff Groves, and Tammy Frates; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3 at St. Frances of Rome Church, 2827 Topeka St., Riverbank.
