Inger passed away in her home surrounded by her son Tomas Jore and her beloved dogs. She was born in Stockholm, Sweden, she immigrated to the United States in 1968, together with her husband Bo Jore and her two boys Tomas and Patrik. She was preceded in death by her parents Frithiof Hedström and Thyra Johansson; brother Olaf Hedström; ex-husband Bo Jore; son Patrik Jore; and longtime companion Albert Corrigan.

Inger loved her dogs, hiking, camping and gardening. She also loved spending time with her Swedish friends and celebrating all the Swedish holidays, and especially St. Lucia day Dec. 13th.

She is survived by her son Tomas Jore; four grandchildren Jeramie Jore, Jesse Jore, Jacob Jore and Amber Jore; brother and sister in-law Lars and Marianne Hedström; sister and brother in-law Kerstin and Tommy Bergstrom, also in Sweden, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 162 N. Second Ave., Oakdale, on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.
