Joe Barragan, 92, of Riverbank died Monday, March 8 at Hylond Convalescent Hospital, Modesto.
A native of Santa Paula, he lived in Riverbank for 64 years. He was a head seamer mechanic for Hunt-Wesson for 12 years and had also worked at Tri-Valley Growers. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a member of Teamsters Local #748.
He is survived by his children, Marilyn Hastings of Modesto, Carolyn Marsh of Bakersfield, Raymond Dow of Soquel; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Barragan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 14. Graveside service was Monday, March 15 at Lakewood Memorial Park.
