Coming up on Thursday, Oct. 24, it’s the Relay Kickoff Party for the 2025 Relay For Life, encompassing a number of communities in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Wellspring Anglican Church, 1548 Cummins Drive, Modesto.

The 2025 event will have a ‘Carnival’ theme and information provided at the kickoff will include how to get involved, what Relay includes, and the various programs and services offered through the American Cancer Society.

There will be a meal available for $7, featuring lasagna, salad and garlic bread; RSVP to event chairperson Irene Cortez at irene_c_95355@yahoo.com to order your plate.

All interested in joining the 2025 Relay For Life are encouraged to attend the Thursday night meeting; so come on out and wear purple on Oct. 24.
