One-year anniversary gala set at Modesto Children’s Museum
museum

Toast to a year of curiosity, creativity, and learning through play as Modesto Children’s Museum celebrates a year of hands-on, family-focused discovery designed by and for the Central Valley.

Capping off its first year of family visits, field trips, birthday parties, camps, and more, “MoChiMu” celebrates the anniversary of their September 2023 opening with a festive Imagination Celebration Gala. The evening promises color and creativity, discovery and drinks, adventure and artistry, all to support the sustainability of this beloved nonprofit.

Imagination Celebration is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 27 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Modesto Children’s Museum, inviting adults to participate in the adventure and explore the museum for themselves.

The Imagination Celebration Gala won’t just be a colorful celebration of the museum’s first year of operations – it’ll also launch the museum into the future. Every ticket for Imagination Celebration will directly benefit the sustainability fund of the museum, allowing MoChiMu to continue its mission of enriching the lives of all children. At the event itself, attendees can contribute to building a scholarship fund for Camp MoChiMu, ensuring that all children can access the STEAM-focused daytime program hosted in Modesto.

This is a 21-and-over event only; tickets are $125 per person and cocktail party attire is recommended. There will be culinary stations, bars with signature cocktails, music and dancing, and interactive activities set up for attendees.

The Imagination Celebration Gala will be a testament to the wonder, joy, and educational value that the Modesto Children’s Museum has brought to Modesto, Stanislaus County, and beyond.
