Parks and Recreation plans fun fall activities
Riv pr

The Riverbank Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled another fall celebration for the end of the month, and it will arrive with a splash.

Participants will be invited to the Riverbank Community Pool for an afternoon of fun, from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. They’ll find a floating pumpkin patch, as well as a number of other activities to participate in.

Officials have indicated there will be fall crafts, face painting, lawn games, and of course, swimming.

Adventurous players will be able to jump into the pool to select a pumpkin from the floating pumpkin patch. They’re also offering a caramel apple bar to create custom treats, and participants will have plenty of opportunities to capture the fun at a photo booth.

Officials said that the warm temperatures lately have allowed the department to extend pool hours, making it a “great reason to splash into fall.”
