On hand for the Saturday, June 1 Community Meet Up at the Community United Methodist Church at Oak and Poplar in Oakdale was this 82-year-old vendor, overseeing her “Grandma Patty’s succulents” booth and selling the plants. The once-a-month event is going on hiatus until cooler weather returns in the fall; Patty was one of several vendors, set up inside and outside the church, with a variety of wares for sale at the recent event. Merchandise ranged from plants to handmade journals, camping gear to dreamcatchers, pet items and more.
