SUNDAY, NOV. 17

12:34 a.m. – Deputies investigated a brandishing of a weapon at Applebees on Claribel Road. Two subjects argued with staff after being asked to leave. One of the subjects took a firearm out and threatened staff. The investigation is ongoing.

4:04 p.m. – Reckless driver investigation at California and Snedigar. The vehicle was involved in a brandishing of a weapon in the early morning hours. The driver was found to be driving under the influence. During a search of the vehicle a handgun was recovered. The driver was booked into the Stanislaus Detention Center for DUI, reckless driving, carrying a concealed weapon within a vehicle and possession of stolen property.

 

SATURDAY, NOV. 16

12:28 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family disturbance in the 2700 block of Patterson Road.

2:10 p.m. – Stolen vehicle located by deputies, seen being driven in the area of Claus Road and Sierra Street. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the driver was arrested. An adult male was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked. The vehicle was returned to its owner.

2:56 p.m. – Minor injury vehicle collision reported at Atchison and Second streets.

11:10 p.m. – Deputies stopped a car for multiple vehicle code violations at Howard and Ward. Through investigation the driver was found to be driving under the influence. He was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

 

FRIDAY, NOV. 15

8:04 a.m. – Vandalism to a vehicle reported in the 2400 block of Rio Gabriel.

8:42 a.m. – Deputies investigated a battery in the 6100 block of Terminal Avenue. The investigation was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.

9:05 a.m. – Battery complaint investigated by deputies in the 5800 block of Thoroughbred Drive. An adult male was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

7:34 p.m. – Deputies investigated a minor injury collision involving a vehicle vs. a pedestrian at Patterson Road and Roselle Avenue.

10:49 p.m. – Family disturbance in the 2900 block of Fern Court.

 

THURSDAY, NOV. 14

2:14 a.m. – Deputies stopped a subject riding a bike for CVC violations; the subject riding the bike was identified and found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

5:32 a.m. – Report of a subject looking into vehicles in the 2200 block of Patterson Road. An adult male was contacted and determined to be under the influence of drugs. He was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

1:22 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Target. A female juvenile was detained and later released to her parent.

2:10 p.m. – Report of credit card fraud in the 3900 block of Clydesdale Lane.

4:26 p.m. – Deputies investigated a non-injury vehicle collision at Homewood Way and Westgate Drive.

4:55 p.m. – Restraining order violation report investigated by deputies.

5:12 p.m. – Deputies investigated a shoplifting at Home Depot during an Organized Retail Crime Operation. An adult male was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

5:21 p.m. – Investigation into a report of shoplifting at Target during an Organized Retail Crime Operation. An adult female was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

6:44 p.m. – Deputies contacted a subject with a warrant at Target during an Organized Retail Crime Operation. An adult male was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

8:03 p.m. – Contact made by deputies with a subject at Morrill Road and Jackson Avenue with a warrant during an Organized Retail Crime Operation. An adult male was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

8:05 p.m. – Deputies contacted a subject at Roselle Avenue and Claribel Road with a warrant during an Organized Retail Crime Operation. An adult male was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

9:13 p.m. – Investigation by deputies into a shoplifting at Target during an Organized Retail Crime Operation.

9:23 p.m. – Deputies investigated a shoplifting at Save Mart during an Organized Retail Crime Operation. An adult female was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

 

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 13

10:18 a.m. – Deputies investigated a vehicle collision at Patterson and Claus.

10:25 a.m. – Security check conducted by deputies at a residence in the 5400 block of Skylar for a friend that had not been heard from in a couple of days. The subject had lost their phone and was secure.

1:03 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Target.

3:42 p.m. – Detectives conducted follow up at Stanislaus County Probation related to a case investigated at Target the day before.

 

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS

On Nov. 14 SRO Johnson, CRD Buck, Traffic deputies and detectives participated in a walk to school event at Crossroads Elementary.

Detectives conducted an Organized Retail Crime Operation at the Crossroads Shopping Center on Nov. 14 to combat the ongoing thefts from retail businesses in Riverbank.
