On Sunday, May 7 at 9:42 a.m. deputies responded to the Home Depot for a report of two riding mowers stolen from the business. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies responded to Galaxy Theatre for a report of a subject possibly armed with a firearm on Sunday at 10:14 p.m. The theatre was checked, and the female was located, she was not armed with a firearm and was cooperative with the investigation. The call was determined to be unfounded.

On Saturday, May 6 at 3:50 a.m. deputies checked a vehicle stopped in the turn lane of Morrill Road, the driver stopped at Kasper Drive and Prouty Way. Through investigation a 21-year-old man was arrested for DUI. He was transported to Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

At 8:27 a.m. on Saturday deputies responded to Oakdale and Claribel roads for a traffic collision. At least one party was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

During the afternoon on Saturday at 1:48 p.m. deputies responded to the 3800 block of Texas Avenue for a family disturbance. The argument was verbal only and the parties agreed to separate for the day.

Deputies responded to the 6300 block of Chief Tucker Avenue for a subject refusing to leave on Saturday at 11:06 p.m. Deputies located a 30-year-old man in front of the residence. He was unable to care for himself. He was arrested for being drunk in public, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

On Friday, May 5 at 9:16 a.m. deputies responded to the 5200 block of Equine Court for an assault report. The investigation is ongoing.

At 4 p.m. on Friday deputies responded to the 5200 block of Squire Wells Way for a traffic collision. At least one party was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies attempted to pull over a motorcycle at Morrill Road and Squire Wells Way on Friday at 8:15 p.m. The driver, a 23-yer-old man, was arrested for running several stop signs and evading law enforcement.

On Thursday, May 4 at 7:37 a.m. detectives served a search warrant in the 200 block of Rivercrest Drive in Waterford. Luis Castro, 40, was subsequently arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of illegal weapons, organized retail crime theft and conspiracy after approximately $30,000 to $40,000 of product, weapons and cash were recovered. Castro was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

At 2:18 p.m. on Thursday deputies conducted a traffic stop for an expired registration. A 24-year-old man was cited for driving on a suspended license and his vehicle was towed.

Deputies responded to the 5300 block of Benjamin for a family disturbance on Thursday at 4:32 p.m.; a 66-year-old man was arrested for violation of a restraining order. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
