Drivers in neighborhoods all over Riverbank were forced for a time to find alternate routes to their destinations as road work progressed street by street over several days last week. Here, in the downtown area on July 14, cars and trucks were prohibited on Santa Fe Street, between Second and Third, right between City Halls North and South, but luckily, on Fridays, city offices are closed.
