The Riverbank branch of Royal Neighbors is setting up to host its Ninth Annual Tea Party, coming this weekend, to the Stanislaus County Veterans Center in Modesto. The address is 3500 Coffee Road, Suite 114.

The June 8 event is co-sponsored by the Stanislaus County Veterans Foundation, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cost is $10 per adult, $5 per child 8-12, and those under 8 are admitted free. Organizers note there will be a door prize drawing, and opportunity drawings are also going to be available. The event is a fundraiser, where all proceeds go toward the Royal Neighbors free annual Veterans’ Luncheon, scheduled this year for Nov. 9.

Those attending are invited to bring their favorite tea cup, and to wear a fancy hat to join in the fun. Aloha attire is welcomed, they say, and some tea cups and hats will be available for use.
