Members of the Riverbank High School Class of 2023 gather in the grandstands of Angelo Novi Stadium on campus the morning of Friday, Aug. 19, to celebrate the beginning of their last year of high school. Called Senior Sunrise, it is attended by classmates with tie-dye shirts and lots of rally-like signs as the sun peeks over the horizon. The celebration will conclude with a Senior Sunset observance in May.
