A series of Voter Education Workshops is being hosted through the Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters Office.
The first of nine events scheduled throughout the county will be offered in the City of Riverbank, set for Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022.
The workshop will be presented at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, 2827 Topeka St., Riverbank. Attendees can get answers to a variety of election questions at the workshops, and all will begin at 6 p.m. with a time for questions.
Each of the workshops will be open to the public and, along with the Jan. 6 event in Riverbank, are also scheduled to include Jan. 11 at the Turlock Library; Jan. 12 at the Waterford Community Center; Jan. 18 at the L.J. Newman Memorial Building in Newman; Jan. 19 at the Stanislaus Veterans Center Banquet Hall in Modesto. Also, Jan. 25, Ceres American Legion Hall in Ceres; Jan. 31 at Gene Bianchi Community Center, Oakdale; Feb. 1 at the Hughson Community Senior Center; Feb. 8 at City Hall Board Chambers in Patterson.
Topics will include frequently asked questions relating to voter registration, vote by mail and the election process. The workshops are designed to help residents prepare for the upcoming Statewide Direct Primary Election scheduled on June 7, 2022.
