The building skeleton is rising on the campus of Cardozo Middle School, on Santa Fe Street, as the first day of school nears for Riverbank students. Though obviously not nearly ready for the new school year, work continues despite the hot summer days. A tree surgeon had to come in recently as well and take down a tree on the campus near Santa Fe and Fifth, as the framework for the new wing of classrooms shapes up.
