Not three, not four, but for five big days, the Walker Brothers Circus will be setting up shop on Patterson Road, across from Taco Bell and Cool Hand Luke’s. And there will be eight full shows, including matinees on the weekend.
It all starts with regular shows at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, and Friday, Sept. 28. On Saturday, a 5 p.m. matinee is added, and on Sunday, Sept. 30, there’ll be three shows, at 2 p.m., 5 p.m., and again at 7:30 p.m., and a final show on Monday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m.
There’s special pricing, too, for that early Sunday matinee, the one at 2 p.m. Admission for both adults and children will be $5 each, but just for that show.
Regular admission for adults is $15 at the other shows, and $10 for children. But parents can find ticket coupons at several businesses around town that allow a free child’s admission with a paid adult.
The circus is co-sponsored by the Riverbank Parks and Recreation Department, which has received a portion of the proceeds in the past.
