The Stanislaus County Workforce Development Department has scheduled a special program toward the end of the month, designed especially for youth.

Called STANdOUT!, the youth conference is set for Friday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It’ll be held in the Martin G. Petersen Center, 720 12th St., Modesto and goals are to provide participants with skills to learn, grow and lead.

Attendance is open to all students, ages 17 to 30, in Stanislaus County. Organizers promise a transformative day of empowerment and mentorship.

They ask you to “leave your challenges at the door and step into a future of possibilities.” And they promise an “experience of lifetime” at the one-day conference.
