The Central Valley Outlaws youth football teams – headquartered in Riverbank – celebrated their Homecoming games on the Riverbank High School field on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Action on the gridiron saw varsity Outlaw defender Daniel Guzman, 13, taking on a Denair runner in the final game of youth football in the RHS stadium. The four youth football teams got mixed results on the day, with the Junior Novice team losing to Denair, 47-0, while the Novice team won, 25-12. The JV team also won, 25-0, but the Varsity fell, 40-12. A highlight of the day, however, amongst all the football, was the naming of new royalty. announcing their Queen and King. Crowned as Homecoming Queen was Brylee Redmon and Edgar Rivera was selected as the Homecoming King. Next year, the Central Valley Outlaws will become the Riverbank Outlaws, a true ‘feeder’ program for RHS football teams.
