Both Riverbank running squads, girls and boys, hosted the third round of the Mother Lode League meet at Jacob Myers Park. Cross Country Coach Monte Wood reported that Giselle Fernandez won the varsity girls race, while Armando Garcia won the varsity boys competition.

“Both have good chances to win league titles,” Wood said.

The fourth MLL meet will be in San Andreas, hosted by Calaveras High School on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
