Title Honors For RLA JV Hoop Girls

The Riverbank Language Academy JV Girls Basketball team participated in the Central Valley School League 2013 Tournament held at Our Lady of Fatima School. Riverbank Language Academy played against Vanguard School in the finals for the Junior Varsity Championship. The RLA girls basketball team, coached by Gabe Guzman, worked diligently to come up with the win against Vanguard, taking a 19-12 decision off the court.

That secured this year’s Junior Varsity Championship for the Riverbank Language Academy team. School officials, parents and fans offered congratulations to the girls for their hard work and great teamwork throughout the season.

Team members included Jamani Prince, Franchesca Ryan, Brianna Montoya, Daisy Guzman, Jackie Pantoja, Tatyana Jimenez and Evelyn Duarte.
