Sign-ups for the 2018 Youth Basketball Clinic are still available, online, at the Riverbank High School website through the end of the year.
Registration was available last week at the Ray Fauria Memorial Gymnasium, in conjunction with the Ron Peterson Tip-Off Tournament, in the lobby during the event’s games Thursday through Saturday.
The Youth Basketball program is designed for students in first through eighth grades. The registration fee is $55 per child and the program includes a T-shirt and a ball.
The schedule consists of two clinics and four games for a total of six weeks. The Youth League will run every Saturday, starting on Jan. 6, running through Feb. 10.
All games are scheduled to be played between 9 a.m. and noon. On clinic days, first and second graders will work from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m., with third and fourth graders between 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Officials say that fifth through eighth graders will gather for their clinic sessions from 11:15 a.m. to noon.
When the games start, they, too, will be held at RHS, between 9 a.m. and noon.
