Riverbank High School’s Angelo Novi Stadium saw lots of football action as the many youth football teams of the Central Valley Outlaws played games through the afternoon and evening on Saturday, Sept. 7. Here, varsity player Easton Miller, 19, turns the corner and makes a good gain, setting up an eventual touchdown. The Outlaws hosted the Gustine Reds. Earlier games suffered from triple-digit heat, but the last game saw temperatures in the 80s. Two injuries to Gustine varsity players also forced the game to be called early, as they suited up just 12 and didn’t have enough to field a complete team after the two injuries. The game was called in the second quarter, with the Outlaws ahead, 14-7.
