Riverbank students who wish to participate in the cheer squad in the coming school year will have an opportunity to try out following a week-long mandatory series of clinics.

Those clinic sessions will be held April 24 through 28 in the old Bruin Gym on the RHS campus. They will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on those days, with a parent/athlete informational meeting on the April 28 at 6 p.m.

Organizers say that tryout packets can be picked up in the school’s front office. The paperwork must be filled out and turned in on that first day of clinic in order to participate.

After the clinics, the official tryout will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, also in the old gym.
